About the event
Annually on the 1st Saturday in December
Held annually on the first Saturday of December, this parade starts at G Street and moves down Central Avenue and ends at the National Guard Armory.
The Butner Christmas Parade is held on Central Avenue. It’s an exciting day with many seasonal floats, bands, local businesses and churches, school & civic groups, dance groups, and of course Santa participate in this big event.
The cost to participate is only $10 per entry except non-profit groups such as churches and schools, which have no entry fee.
