Butner Summer Festival Dance
The Summer Festival Dance is always held the Friday night before the Summer Festival. The dance is held from 7:00 – 10:00 pm, and in 2022 the location was changed to the area in front of the Solders Memorial Sports Arena in Butner. In case of rain, it can be moved inside the arena.

About the event
In the earlier years, the dance was referred to as the “Street Dance” but later the name was changed for a closer link to the Chicken Pickin’.
